Toyota Taytay, Rizal, Inc. (TTR) launched its second TTR Supported Philippine Toy Library site in the Municipality
As a background, the Philippine Toy Library (PTL) was started by a group of volunteer-friends who came together and took the challenge of providing the experience of play to our Filipino children. With just a social media status, a national advocacy was born which was launch June 12, 2013, PTL aimed to transform idle spaces in barangays, schools, parishes, and partner organization into fun and educational playrooms for the children in the community. It aims to fill the gap in setting up spaces for play in cramped urban center. Children, whose families cannot afford to buy toys and books will be able to experience playing and reading – experience that are crucial to children’s development. Toy libraries will be the venue for fun and free play, meaningful social interaction of the same life stage and exploration and creation of imaginative worlds.
Last November 25, 2015, Toyota Taytay, Rizal, Inc. (TTR) conducted its painting activity at the Rosario Ocampo Elementary School in Brgy. San Juan, Taytay, Rizal. It is the chosen beneficiary of TTR in collaboration with the Office of the Mayor, Honorable Janet De Leon-Mercado. The school will be the 2nd site of PTL in the Municipality of Taytay.
TTR in cooperation with its partners, suppliers, customers and team members, donated various items such as assorted books, musical instruments, transportation toys, building toys, imaginative play, board games, arts & crafts to the elementary students of the school.
